Australian Service Medal 1945-75

Ribbon:

Instituted: 13 September 1988.

Awarded: For service in peacekeeping but non-warlike operations between 1945 and 1975 for which no other medal has been awarded.

Vietnam Medal

Ribbon: Yellow with three narrow central red stripes and red borders, edged with a dark blue stripe to the wearer's right and a light blue one to his left.

Instituted: 8 June 1968.

Awarded: For service in Vietnam between 29 May 1964 and 27 January 1973.

Vietnam Logistic and Support Medal

Ribbon: Yellow with three narrow central red stripes and dark blue edge stripes, with a red edge to the wearer's right and a light blue one to his left.

Instituted: 24 February 1993.

Awarded: For service in support of Australian Armed Forces in Vietnam which did not qualify for the Vietnam Medal.
