Founded: 22 January 1926 by Ahmed Ben Zogu (the then President of Albania), and amended in 1940 under Italian rule. Discontinued 1945.

Grades: Originally 4 (Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander and Member) with an Officer class being added in 1940.
