Here is a collection of images of medals from around the world. I hope you enjoy them - some will be familiar, some you may never have seen before. I have tried to make it as comprehensive as possible - hence sometimes I'll list a medal although I don't have a picture of it - and I'd welcome all comments and corrections, particularly if you happen to have an image I'm missing!

Of particular note on the Internet are Jean-Paul LeBlanc and Ed Haynes, who both have magnificent collections of links, a fine starting point for medals research. Ed has some splendid original material on some of the Asian and Middle Eastern countries which has been particularly useful.
